Otto O. Deffner

Deffner, Otto Of Dousman, WI formerly of Glendale, WI . The angels carried him to heaven to be with his Lord and Savior on November 15, 2015. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Carole, his parents Oscar and Elsie Deffner, and his brother Alvin Deffner. Otto was the loving husband of Carole for 44 years and cherished father of Michael (Kristen) Deffner and Jennifer (Michael) Johnston. He was the loving Grandpa of Lillian and Susan Johnston, and Leah and Robert Deffner. He is further survived by loving brothers and sister, Norman (Jan) Deffner, Marvin (Joanne) Deffner, Roger (Louda) Deffner, and Elaine (Thomas) Disch; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Robert and Elaine Rosner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Otto enjoyed family gatherings, golfing with friends, working outside and watching the stock market. Otto worked for Langer Roofing for many years before retiring as Vice President in January of 1999. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 4-5pm with a service at 5pm at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 470 North Oak Crest Dr., Wales, WI. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park, 4710 North Troy St., Wausau, WI 54403 on Friday, November 20th, 2015 with visitation from 10-11am and service at 11am in the Restlawn Chapel with burial to follow.
