Patrick Bohrman

12/17/50-12/10/15 On the morning of December 10th, 2015, Patrick Bohrman passed away peacefully at the age of 64 due to complications associated with quadriplegia. He was born in Waukesha, WI on December 17th, 1950 and was the oldest of Jack and Margaret Bohrman’s seven children. He graduated from Oconomowoc High School and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison before getting into the family manufacturing business. In 1972 he married Jean Stearns Paige of Park Ridge, IL and they welcomed two sons and a daughter. Pat later broke away from the family business and started Genesis Machining in Hartland, WI. He lived for his family and was an amazing father who was known to drop anything to play a game of catch. Pat loved being outdoors all year long and was passionate about sailing, rollerblading, iceboating, cars and anything else that had a motor. In the summer he could be found driving his 1920 firetruck in various parades or heading to the Kiltie and picking up neighbors along the way. In the winter you could find him in his 1953 Willies, plowing any snowy driveway in a 10 mile radius. Pat would tell you that his greatest accomplishment was being a grandpa. His family would tell you that he was the funniest, goofiest, most loving man in the world. After being injured in a serious industrial accident in late 2006, it was Pat’s strong faith in Christ and the steadfast love of his wife Jean that carried him through his last 9 years as a quadriplegic. Despite his limitations, he remained much of the happy, funny, God-fearing man he always was. His family rejoices in the knowledge that Pat is now whole again and pain-free in heaven, and patiently waiting for us to join him for a game of catch. Pat is survived by his devoted wife Jean, son Michael (Becky) Bohrman, daughter Amy (Chris) Fanning, and son Patrick (Kersta) Bohrman Jr., and beloved grandchildren Cole, Dennis, Paige, Mikey, Bryce, Everley, and Keller. He is also survived by his mother Margaret Bohrman, and brothers Kelly Bohrman, Dan (Jill) Bohrman, Tom (Kathleen) Bohrman, John Bohrman, and Mark Bohrman Panetti. He was preceded in death by his father Jack Bohrman, brother Michael J. Bohrman, and his beloved dog Bailey. A celebration of life service will be held on Pat’s birthday, Thursday, December 17th at Crosspoint Community Church in Oconomowoc, with a receiving line from 4-6 pm followed by the service at 6:00 pm. Flowers can be sent to Crosspoint Community Church and memorial donations can be made in Pat’s honor to Young Life Arrowhead.
