Paul L. Sanger

Paul L. Sanger, age 76 of Oconomowoc, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, January 20, 2015. Paul is survived by his ex-wife Monica, children Randall (Sheryl) Sanger, Renee (Michael) Redman, Rick (Vicki) Sanger and Robert (Jennifer) Sanger, grandchildren Jordain, Austin, Alex, Brock, Brandon, Lily, Jack and Luke, sisters Alice and Mary Ann along with other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Paul and Martha Sanger, siblings Kenneth, Clarence, Art, Robert, Beatrice, Pearl and Victor. Paul was raised in Gresham, WI and attended Gresham High School where he participated in many sports. After graduating high school he enlisted in the US Army and was a member of the 82nd Airborne out of Fort Bragg, NC. In 1963 Paul married Monica Dolata and raised his family in Hartford, WI. He worked as a cement mason in the construction trade throughout the greater Milwaukee area. Paul enjoyed the outdoors including hunting, fishing, golfing and playing softball. He had a hole-in-one at Paganica Golf Course in Oconomowoc. In 1990 Paul moved to Oconomowoc where he eventually retired. Paul was a beloved father, generous grandfather and a loyal friend who will be missed by his family and friends. A memorial service for Paul will be held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home in Oconomowoc on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the time of the service led by Father Ralph Gross.
