Pierce Harold Hollingsworth, Jr.

Pierce Harold Hollingsworth, Jr., age 82, passed away peacefully at AngelsGrace Hospice on January 11, 2024. He was born on December 5, 1941, in the picturesque town of Dobra, West Virginia, to parents Pierce Hollingsworth Sr. and Margaret Hollingsworth (nee Bell).

Harold led a fulfilling life characterized by his adventurous spirit and a zest for life that knew no bounds. He was an avid outdoorsman, spending his free time biking through picturesque trails and soaring through the treetops on thrilling ziplining adventures.

A lover of music, Harold found solace and joy in listening to his favorite tunes. He had a unique ability to bring joy to any room, often singing and dancing to his favorite tunes, “sing a long with Harold and dance a little jig.”

Harold is survived by his wife, Sharon; brothers, Edgar (Maria) and Michael Hollingsworth; along with many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Harold is preceded in death by his parents Pierce Harold Hollingsworth Sr. and Margaret Pauline Hollingsworth (nee Bell); and grand-niece, Kendell Marie Hollingsworth.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to AngelsGrace Hospice and the Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital Cancer Unit for their unwavering support and compassionate care.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family to help cover hospital and hospice costs are welcome.

A celebration of Harold’s life will take place on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (NEW LOCATION: 2228 N. Silver Maple Lane, Oconomowoc, WI 53066) from 5:00pm-7:00pm with a service to follow. Military honors will be accorded after the service.
