Pieter Williams

Pieter Williams, born on September 1, 1944 passed away on January 25, 2024, at the age of 79.

Pete was a loving and devoted husband of 61 years to his wife, Pat; very proud father to his four children Lon (Dawn) Williams, Kimberly (Mike McGarvey) Williams, Wendy (Mike) Mahaney and Robert (Julie) Williams; grandkids Nicole Williams, Matthew Williams, Sarah (Oli) Self, James (Callie) Gudmundson, Teagan Mahaney. Leland Williams, McCoy Williams and Pierce Williams. Pieter is also survived by six great-grandkids; brother Mickey; sister Shirley; best friends Lynn and Jerry; God-kids Todd and Jodi; along with many other friends and family.

Pete is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Shirley Williams; and granddaughter Jessica Hope Williams.

Pete worked as a computer specialist for IBM for 27 years and then as a consultant for the University of Tennessee for 4 years. He also was a consultant for Kimberly Clark in Appleton for over 5 years. Pete was a long-time member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Ashippun and the Oconomowoc Community Choir.

A visitation will take place on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at St. John’s Lutheran Church (N1245 St John's Way, Oconomowoc, WI 53066) from 1:00pm-3:00pm with a service to follow. Pete will be buried at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery following the service where military honors will be accorded.
