Raymond E. Ofenbeck

Raymond Edwin Ofenbeck, age 94, of Punta Gorda, FL and Dousman, WI, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, October 25, 2016. Raymond is survived by his loving wife Barbro; his sister Edna Geib; children Janice (the late John) Weiss, Rae Ellyn (Theodore) Kyriazis, Lori (Fred) Sandquist, Todd (Amy) Ofenbeck and his son-in-law John Ritter; grandchildren Lindsay (Jason) Hinson, Hayley Weiss, William, Christopher, Amalia Kyriazis, Molly, Zachary and Benjamin Sandquist; and three great grandchildren. Raymond is preceded in death by daughter Andrea Ritter. Raymond served in the Navy during World War II and he was a member of the Barrington Masonic Lodge for 67 years. He enjoyed SCUBA diving and was a private pilot for many years. Raymond was a long time active resident of Tower Lakes, IL. Services will be held in the chapel at Windridge Memorial Park (7014 S. Rawson Bridge Rd, Cary, IL 60013) on Monday, October 31, 2016. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10-12 with a service starting at 12 PM and burial to follow.
