Richard Clayton Trudeau, age 82, of Sullivan, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, with his family by his side. He was born July 20, 1939 in Green Bay, to Edward and Irene Trudeau. He grew up in the Milwaukee area. He was a boxer at the Eagle's Club in Milwaukee, as well as an avid fisherman. He married Maxine Burmeister, on October 1st, 1960. Together they raised 4 loving children, Richard, Julie, Jim and Dave. As a family they enjoyed fishing and camping, and in their later years the couple enjoyed traveling with friends. Dick loved to bowl, and enjoyed karaoke and loved to sing. In his younger days, Dick enjoyed golfing with his sons. He was a great father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Dick is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Maxine; four children, Richard (Lynda), Julie (Dale), Jim and David (Melissa); 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; 3 siblings, Speed (Barb), Harold (Kris), and Beverly; and many close friends, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Edward, Tony and Bonnie. A Celebration of Dick's Life will be held Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 7 pm at Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 1165 E. Summit Ave., Oconomowoc, WI. A visitation for friends and family will be held from 5:00 pm until time of service.
