Richard "Dick" J. Richter, Dds

Richard (Dick) J. Richter, DDS, of Stone Bank WI, age 90, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Angels Grace Hospice. Dick was born in Milwaukee on May 3, 1931, to Alphonse and Lucille (Daniels) Richter. He graduated from Pulaski High School, where he excelled in football and academics. He was inducted into the Air Force, serving as a Captain during the Korean War. He graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1954 and practiced dentistry in Milwaukee for 35 years. He married Mary Ann Krysco in 1952 and had seven children. They raised their family in Hales Corners and Delafield and shared 69 years of marriage, renewing their vows on their 50th wedding anniversary. Dick had many good years after retiring from dentistry, creating colorful yard art sculptures, composing poems, traveling with Mary Ann and spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed following all his beloved local sports teams. An avid golfer, Dick got together weekly with his brothers and colleagues to play rounds at local courses as well as traveled to some of the top golf courses in the country. As a long time parishioner and member of the choir at St. Teresa of Calcutta, Dick will be remembered for his profound Catholic faith, kind spirit, witty sense of humor, love of family and generosity. He will be deeply missed by his wife Mary Ann (Krysco); children, Richard Jr., Robert, Therese (Standridge), John, Mary (DeArmey), Jayne, and David; Twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his two brothers Al and Jack, his sister Nancy, along with a wealth of extended family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday October 11th at St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, W314 N7462 WI-83 in North Lake (Hartland). Friends and family may gather at the church beginning at 12:00 pm until the time of service.
