Richard H. Stolz

Richard “Rick” Stolz, of Oconomowoc, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 31st 2024. Rick was born on May 12, 1947 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to his parents Ervin and Elsie Stolz. Rick is preceded in death by his parents and daughter Laura J. Stolz.

He is survived by his wife Susan (nee Kroll) Stolz, his son Richard M. Stolz with his wife Stephanie David, and his sister Nancy J. Novak.

A proud United States Army Vietnam Veteran, having served from 1966-1968, he enjoyed his life through a love of the outdoors, hunting, fishing, Packers and Brewers games, and reminiscing with his many lifelong friends. His passion for self-taught skills led him to be proficient in many labors such as construction, computers, and architecture. He was a fixture at the Oconomowoc Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2260 where he enjoyed banter and beverages with his fellow veterans.

Rick will be remembered as a profound patriot, always making sure an American flag was proudly displayed in the front yard and a loving husband and father always ready to lend a helping hand, or a walk of his grandpups Maddie and Einstein.

A celebration of Rick’s life will be held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 2228 Silver Maple Ln, Oconomowoc, WI 53066, on September 4, 2024. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., with a service to follow at 12:30 p.m.
