Richard (Jim) Lee Coyle, age 86, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on March 26, 2024. He was born on September 17, 1937, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, to his loving parents Richard and Dorthy Coyle.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents and wife Suzanne (nee Wucherer).

Richard attended the University of Wisconsin-Stout from 1958 to 1963, where he also joined Sigma Tau Gamma, Alpha Kappa Chapter and formed lifelong bonds with his peers. His dedication to serving his country led him to the Air Force, where he specialized in intelligence. Stationed in Germany, he immersed himself in the rich culture of the region and spoke the language fluently. Richard always found joy in the simple pleasures of life including his love for automobiles, craftsmanship in woodworking, and enjoyment of fine wine and food.

In addition to his interests, Richard was a devout member of Thirst Church, where he found a community that enriched his life and brought him great joy. His dedication to his faith was unwavering and provided him strength in times of need.

Throughout his years, Richard found pleasure in playing tennis and skiing with the Vagabond Ski and Social Club, creating lasting memories with friends. A true lover of the outdoors, Richard fulfilled his dream of living on the lake, where he found solace and spent countless summers sailing on Lake Michigan with his fraternity brother, Jim Schorer.

Richard died how he lived, peaceful, kind and full of faith.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Fresenius Dialysis, Brookfield and his nephrologist, Dr. Afzal for their unwavering care and support during Richard's time of need.
