Rita M. Hettich

Rita M. Hettich (nee Manning) of Dousman, entered eternal life on February 4, 2015 at the age of 87. Her journey through life was met with great endurance and unending love for her family. She was born January 28, 1928 in Granger, Iowa to James and Mary Manning. Rita is survived by her children; Tim (Tracy), Tom, Mary (Jerry), Tony, Maureen, Mona, Chris (Dawn), Jim, Megan (Jess) Cudnohowski, Marsha (Rick) Brenning, grandchildren; David, Kelly, Dustin, Jade, Danny, Dugan (Marie), Dustan, Dylan, Bradley, Ashley, Hunter, Autumn, Nick, Jack, Nolan and great-grandchildren; Caleb, Sammy and Seth. Rita was preceded in death by her husband Mark Hettich and her son Ted. Visitation will be held at St. Bruno Catholic Parish, 226 West Ottawa Avenue in Dousman on Thursday, February 12, 2015 from 4PM – 8PM and again on Friday, February 13, 2015 from 9AM until the funeral mass at 10:30AM, all to be held at the church. Rita will be laid to rest at St. Bruno Catholic Cemetery immediately following mass. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Rita and Ted Hettich will be used to establish a foundation for families in need of drug and alcohol treatment.
