Robert (Bob) Kudis

Robert (Bob) Kudis, 85, of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin died at his home while holding hands with his beloved wife Judy on March 23, 2024.

Bob was born on February 5, 1939 in Chicago to John and Lucille Kudis who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of nearly 62 years, Judy, and children Renee (Pete), Bob (Candy) and John; grandchildren Brennan (Haley), Lauren, Maegen (Dustin), Danielle (Erich), Mike, Adam and Ashley; and great-grandchild Noah.

His love of working-on and racing his prized 58 Chevy Impala as a young man was only surpassed by his passion for the outdoors. A lifetime spent hunting and fishing with his father was passed on to his kids and grandchildren. His happiest times were in the fields and on the water with his family and friends.

Bob worked a career in the printing / graphic arts industry, beginning as a machine operator and working his way up to an executive vice president role. Following his retirement, Bob could be found spending time on the water fishing with his wife, kids or grandkids - splitting his time between bass and northern pike on Okauchee Lake and snook and reds in the flats of southwest Florida. When he wasn’t on the water, he was sure to never miss a sunset with Judy, Manhattan cocktail in his hand.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 3 at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, marking a time for friends and family to gather in honor of Bob’s memory. Visitation is scheduled from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, followed by the service from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM, and burial starting at 1:00 PM.
