Robert "Bob" Sadler

Robert (Bob) Sadler was born in Milwaukee, Wi. on March 1, 1931. He was 92 when he passed away on September 9, 2023 at Angels Grace Hospice.

He attended St. Catherine Catholic grade school and Washington High School.

Bob married Dorothy (Dody) Whelan on December 29, 1956 at St. Jerome Church in Oconomowoc. He is survived by Dody and sons Phillip (April), Matthew, Michael, Joseph (Michelle), and daughter Denise (Michael) Kenealy. Bob also had fourteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Mathew, Mother Elizabeth, and sister Betty (John) Mayer.

Following high school graduation, Bob opened and ran a music business for several years. He then received an Electrical Engineering degree from Univ. of Wisconsin. Bob worked 40 years in the aerospace and automobile industries for General Motors.

Besides his work, Bob enjoyed camping, traveling, and sitting on the pier with a good book soaking up the sunshine. After retirement, Bob enjoyed being a snowbird in southern Florida. Walking along the beach was one of his favorite activities.

Funeral services for Bob will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023 at 11:00 AM with a visitation for family and friends starting at 10:00 AM until the time of the service, all to take place at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Oconomowoc.
