Robert Cheever Dixon, age 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on November 20, 2021. Bob was born in Milwaukee, WI on July 22, 1936 to Cheever and Marguerite (nee Falk) Dixon. Bob is survived by his two beautiful daughters, Elizabeth Ashley (Gregory) Childs and Page Jessica (MG Greenwood) Dixon; his partner, Martha Houck; his grandchildren, Kailyn and Reegan Cannaday, Roberta Greenwood; along with nieces, other family and friends. Bob is preceded in death by his parents; sister Marcia Waid. Bob entered the U.S. Army as a Pharmacist and served in Okinawa during the Vietnam War. Bob was a career Pharmacist and worked in both hospital and private settings. Bob established the first drive-thru pharmacy in Waukesha County, which was located in Oconomowoc. He had a passion for traveling, daily exercise, an occasional round of golf and a good scoop of frozen custard. Bob enjoyed spending his winters in Arizona and his summers in Wisconsin. He was loyal to his family and cherished the time he spent with them. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Froedtert Hospital-Wauwatosa for the outstanding care and compassion they have shown Bob and his family. Per Bob’s wishes, there will be no services. Memorials to the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy or the American Lung Association in Bob’s name are appreciated.
