Robert George Thelen

Robert G. Thelen, age 85 of Oconomowoc, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2015. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Joyce. His children Dennis (Sue), Robert II (Laura), Kathy (Phil), Gregg (Suzi) and Todd (Elizabeth). His grandchildren Jason (Sarah), Dan, Becca (Chris) Banach, Karissa, Joe (Andrea), Robert III (Sarah), Charlie, Dakota, Brady, Camryn, Drew, Luke and Blake. His great grandchildren Zak, Emma, Abbey, Harper, Audrey and Joey. Bob is further survived by his brothers Lloyd (Anne) and Richard (Kathy) and Ben his three year old chocolate lab along with many other relatives and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law Betty (Robert) Edwards, brothers and sister-in-law Ray and Fritz (Barb) Thelen and brother-in-law Gerald and Sandy Kutschenueder. Bob enjoyed his time in the garden, whether it be at home or at the lake, being at and watching all the sporting events for his children and grandchildren, spending time at the lake house, watching Todd race, the Packers and hunting, fishing, camping and boating in the Minocqua area. Memorials in Robert's honor are suggested to the Rush Lake Water Shed Restoration Inc. Private services for Bob are being held by the family.
