LUDWIG, ROBERT G. (BOB) Age 90 of Oconomowoc, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2011. Bob was survived by his loving children Kurt (Sandy) Ludwig and Karol 'Gus' Ludwig, grandchildren Karl, Erik and Kate Ludwig, great-grandchildren Klara, Asher, and Henry Ludwig, along with other neighbors and friends. Bob was preceeded in death by his wife Mary of 60 years. Funeral services for Bob will be held on Sunday, November 20th 2011, at 1:00 PM at Pagenkopf Funeral Home. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, November 19th, 2011 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM and Sunday, November 20th, 2011 from 12:00 PM until time of service at Pagenkopf Funeral Home. Burial will follow services at LaBelle Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St.Olaf's Lutheran Church in Rubicon, WI or American Legion Post 91 in Oconomowoc, WI. Bob was a musician in the Army Air Corp during WWII, a Legion member since 1946, manager of the Oconomowoc American Legion Band from the 1960's thru the 1980's, he was the Principal Bugler for all area military funerals for 70+ years, founder and manager of the Old Mapleton Circus Band, trumpeter in the Mounted Band for the Great Circus Parade in Milwaukee. Bob will be missed by all his family and friends.
