Robert Wittkopp

Robert 'Bob' W. Wittkopp age 91 of Oconomowoc, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, on Monday, October 5, 2015. Bob is survived by his beloved wife and fishing partner, JoAnn Wittkopp of 42 years, loving father of James (Rhonda) Wittkopp and Renee Wittkopp, step-children James Zimmerman, Joan (John) Johnson and daughter-in-law Marianne Zimmerman. He will also be greatly missed by his loving grandchildren, Jeff (Lori) Wittkopp, Tim (Heather) Wittkopp, Stacy Wittkopp, Shay Wittkopp, John (Maggie) Johnson, Cathy (Jason) Huggett, Jill Johnson, Jamie (Mark) Fairweather, Jenny Zimmerman, Jimmy Zimmerman, Tracy (Bryan) Hagen and his great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his sister-in-laws Susan (Richard) Kruse and Lois Scharlau along with other relatives and friends. Bob is preceded in death by his parents William and Florence Wittkopp and step son William 'Billy' Zimmerman. Bob was a proud Army Veteran and he served in WWII. He also loved to fish and was a member of the Great Lakes Sports Fisherman's Club. Bob also served as the Village of Lac La Belle Treasurer for 20 years. Funeral services for Bob will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 7:00 PM with a visitation for family and friends to start at 4:00 PM until the time of service, all to be held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home. A private burial will be held for Bob on Monday.
