Ronald A Jaeger, age 59, of Oconomowoc, passed on at home surrounded by his wife and daughters on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 after a hard-fought 15 month battle with kidney cancer. Ron was a lover of coaching, playing and watching sports. They provided him an abundance of friendships, laughs and fond memories over the years. He will always be remembered as a man who was ready with a smile and kind word for anyone he met. Ron wanted family and friends to know “You gave me more love and friendship than I deserve. You meant more to me than I have the ability to express in words. I always considered myself rich because of the great friends I had.” Ron is survived by his wife of 28 years: Jennifer (nee Novenski) and three daughters: Natalie, Bridgette, and Paige. He is further survived by his mother: Muriel Jaeger and five siblings: Sheryl Jaeger, Beth (Keith) Johnson, Curtis (Keri) Jaeger, Susan (David) Welch and Annette (Todd) Christopherson. Ron was preceded in death by his father, Everett Jaeger and brother, Randall Jaeger. We are thankful to Dr Siegel, nurse Lynn and staff at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Center. We also appreciate the care administered by the IR staff at Aurora Hospital. We are happy to announce it is time to gather and celebrate a great and kind man. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 27 at St Paul's Lutheran Church, 210 E. Pleasant Street, Oconomowoc, with a visitation from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
