Ronald D. Heraly

Ronald D. Heraly, age 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at his home in Dousman, WI. Ron was born on August 30, 1935, in Menominee, MI, to Louis and Catherine (Behnke) Heraly. After graduating high school, he served in the United States Army from 1954 to 1956. On January 30, 1960, Ron was united in marriage to Diane Werner at St. Anthony’s Church in Marinette, WI. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Marquette University and worked as a manufacturing engineer for General Electric (Hot Point) for many years. Prior to his retirement, he drove school bus for Dousman Transport Company. Ron was known for his love for horses, bowling, playing cards, watching the Brewers, and spending time with his granddaughters. He is survived by his brother, Jon (Faye) Heraly of Marinette, WI; sister, Carol Hilar of Eveleth, MN; children, Mike (Debbie) Heraly of Hartford, WI, and Lynne (Jack) Hase of Waukesha, WI; grandchildren, Tiffany (Sean) Leppert and Gabrielle Heraly; great grandchildren, Olivia, and Ella Leppert; and many nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Diane. A special thank you to the Pewaukee Cancer Center and to the nurses and caregivers who supported Ron.
