Ronald Lester Kehl

Ronald Lester Kehl, age 75 of Ashippun, passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer, on Friday, May 17, 2019. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Carol Margelofsky Kehl , his sons Derrick (Donna) Kehl and Travis (Cari) Kehl along with his grandchildren Trent, Zachary and Morgan, Emily, Alisha and Brianna. Ron is further survived by his sisters Judy Kehl and Jean (Dan) Zautner, uncle Aldon (Phylliss) Schlieve, sister-in-law Darlene Beautry and Barb Margelofsky along with nieces, nephews, dog Shiloh and other relatives and friends. Ron was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Sylvia Kehl and in-laws Lester “Butch” and Agnes Margelofsky, Betty Krahn, Jim, Raymond, Dave Margelofsky, Ron graduated from Oconomowoc High School and went into farming and construction. He was a member of the Local Union 113. He loved watching all his grandchildren while they played sports and was always there to help out his sons with a helping hand. He enjoyed playing dartball with his buddies and was known as “Little Joe”. Ron will be remembered for always having a story to tell and having a cold beer in his hand. He will truly be missed by his family and everyone that knew him. A celebration of Ron’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at St. John’s Lutheran Church (N1245 St. John’s Way, Ashippun, WI). Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until time of service at 5:00 PM. Burial will follow at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
