Roswitha S. Rochette

Rowitha S. Rochette, age 73, of Oconomowoc, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, Sept. 1, 2017. Roswitha is survived by her loving husband Harold, of 48 years, her daughter Karina, and many more family and friends. Roswitha graduated​ from Southern Connecticut State College with a Bachelor of Science Degree, and from Southern Illinois University with a Master of Arts Degree. Roswitha taught German at Arrowhead High School from Aug. 20, 1976 until she retired on April 30, 2007. She was honored with the 'Teacher Of The Year' award for the state of Wisconsin in 2005. A memorial service will be held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 1165 E. Summit Ave., Oconomowoc, on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, at 2:30 p.m. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at 2:30 p.m. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Froedtert Hospital, especially the CFAC 7th. floor, for their loving care shown to Roswitha.
