Ruth Anna Anderson unexpectedly went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 21, 2016 at the Oconomowoc Memorial hospital in WI surrounded by her family. She was born in Duluth, MN on March 25 1926 to Albert and Anna Nelson. Ruth was a graduate of Denfeld High School and worked as a bookkeeper at Dodge dealership and Denfeld High School. She married Ronald Wesley Anderson in 1947. Ruth is survived by her sister Lois Rood of Woodbury, MN; four children; Thomas Anderson, (Andrea), Oconomowoc, Wi; David Anderson, (Darlene) New Braunfels, TX: Carol Shand, (Mark) Vancouver, WA: Roger Anderson, (Susan) Hutchinson, MN.; 8 grand-children, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Ruth was a charter member of Salem Covenant church, leaving many dear friends where she remained active throughout her life. She led an active life and enjoyed, her family, her church, camping, biking, cross country skiing, painting, making puzzles, playing cards and Rumi cube. Her last years were spent at Edgewood Vista in Duluth, taking care of her husband of 65 years until his death and enjoying her many new friends and activities. Ruth was loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed. We rejoice in the hope that those who know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior will be reunited with Ruth in heaven. A memorial service will be held at Salem Covenant Church on January 28, 2017. Visitation will be at 1:00 pm and service at 2:00 pm
