Ruth Koester

Ruth Emily Lydia Koester, age 101, of Oconomowoc, passed away on Wednesday, November 09, 2011 at Shorehaven in Oconomowoc, WI. Ruth is survived by her two sons John (Jeanne) Koester and Paul (Carol) Koester, grandchildren Miriam (Dave) Wood, Rachel (Scott) Ferguson, Chris (Krista) Schaefer, April (Scott) Bowen, Steve (Diana) Koester, Lisa (Peter) Piontek, Sharon (Jason) Stahl and Kristen Koester. Ruth is also survived by 17 great grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. WC Koester, son David, daughter Ruth (Rev. Richard) Schaefer, grandchildren Mathew Koester and Raymond Schaefer, 1 brother and two sisters. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2011 from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Funeral service will start at 12:30 p.m. and will be held at Shorehaven's Chapel, 1305 W. Wisconsin Ave, Oconomowoc, WI. Burial will be held on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Randhill Park Cemetery in Arlington Heights, IL. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul's Lutheran Church sound system in Oconomowoc, WI or Greenfield Park Lutheran Church in West Allis, WI.
