Ryan Fenske

Ryan Fenske, age 48, of Oconomowoc, WI passed away unexpectedly on March 24, 2025.

Ryan was born on January 28, 1977, in Oconomowoc, WI. Ryan was a beloved son to parents, Jay Fenske and the late Nancy Fenske. Ryan was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Russ and Renata Miron, who he was very fond of and spent much of his early years enjoying outdoor activities at their lake house.

Ryan enjoyed working with his hands and grew up with the goal of becoming a carpenter. After graduating high school, Ryan joined the Marines which he was very proud and honored to be a part of. He then completed a carpentry apprenticeship and worked his way up to becoming a master carpenter. He worked for many different construction companies before starting his own construction company, Lake Country Construction. He spent his off hours taking on challenging side projects. He readily offered help to others and often used his considerable resourcefulness and a myriad of skills for the betterment of those around him.

Ryan is survived by his father, Jay Fenske; his brother, Jason (Marie) Fenske; his nieces, Ella and Katie Fenske. He also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will remember him fondly.

Those who knew Ryan will remember him for his spirited personality, infectious smile, witty sense of humor, and overwhelming laughter. He had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.

A visitation will take place from 11:00am to 1:00pm Saturday, May 10th, 2025, at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (NEW LOCATION: 2228 N. Silver Maple Lane in Oconomowoc, WI) with a memorial service to follow.
