Sandra L. Strohkirch

Sandra L. Strohkirch (nee Szeklinski), 70 of Oconomowoc, passed away peacefully at AngelsGrace Hospice on Thursday, November 13, 2014. Sandy is survived by her loving husband Dennis, children Kelly (Steven) Tischaefer, Patrick (Angela) Strochkirch, and Dedra Strochkirch. Cherished grandmother to Jessica Tischaefer, Justin Tischaefer, Mathias Strohkirch, Adler Strohkirch, and Hadley Strohkirch. Sandy is also survived by her brother Ken (Karen) Szeklinski, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Tim (Gayle) Strohkirch, sisters-in-law Kathy Strohkirch and Judy Szeklinski, and by her nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents George and Mary Szeklinski, her father and mother-in-law Walter and Laverne Strohkirch, brother-in-law Terry Strohkirch, and sister-in-law Linae Strohkirch. Sandy worked for many years as a Surgical Technologist at Froedtert Hospital. She took great pride in her work. She enjoyed going to casinos and doing her “laundry” up north at the campgrounds. She couldn’t wait until spring when the campground opened so she could spend time with family and friends. The family would like to give special thanks to Paula, Deb, and Martha from AngelsGrace Hospice, who took amazing care of Sandy in her final days. Funeral mass for Sandy will be held at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Oconomowoc on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the time of the mass, all to be held at the church. Sandy will be laid to rest at St. Jerome Catholic Cemetery following mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to AngelsGrace Hospice of Oconomowoc.
