Sandra T. Collard

Sandra Collard, 77, of Delafield, WI, formerly of Flint, Michigan, died peacefully on July 2nd, at AngelsGrace Hospice. Born April 29, 1940 in Flint, Michigan, she is predeceased by her parents, Howard and Katherine Timm. Surviving are her daughters, Catherine Giampetroni of Delafield and Cindy Thomas of Raleigh, NC. Also surviving are her three loving grandchildren, Alexis Giampetroni, Kelly Thomas, and Drew Thomas. Sandra (known as “Sandy” by her friends) graduated from University of Michigan with a Master’s Degree in Education. She taught elementary school for over 30 years in the Flint Public School system. She was an avid reader and liked playing games. She enjoyed cooking and traveling, and took pride in her flowers every year. In the summer you could see her driving the streets of Delafield in her yellow convertible. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 5th at 6 p.m., and a visitation from 5 – 6 p.m. at Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 1165 Summit Avenue, Oconomowoc WI. The burial will be following at the Delafield Cemetery. Special thanks to the nurses and aides at AngelsGrace Hospice, Dr. Jane Neuman, and her many friends and neighbors who loved and supported her.
