Sharon C. Maerder

Sharon C. Maerder (nee Scott), 78 of Dousman, found peace on Friday, November 15, 2019. Sharon is survived by her children, Doug (Lori) Maerder, Joel (Susan) Maerder, Kerri (Jeff) Kaphengst, and Mikey Maerder; and loving Grammi-Mimi, to Ashley Maerder, Erin Lesniewski, Max Maerder, Michael Maerder and Jacob Maerder. Sharon is survived by her sister, Sheila (Robert) Wangerin; nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rodger; her parents, Donald and Eleanor Scott; sister, Cassie; and brother, Donald (Mike). Sharon worked for more than 25 years at the School District of Kettle Moraine working in Early Childhood and Kindergarten. She served as a deacon at Highview Evangelical Presbyterian Church. She loved spending time with family and friends and helping others in need. She also loved convertibles, being in the sun by the lake and gardening. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Sharon’s name to Highview Evangelical Presbyterian Church. A Memorial Service will take place at Highview Evangelical Presbyterian Church (S50 W33042, Town Road GE, Dousman, WI 53118) on Saturday, November 23rd. The visitation will be from 10:00am-12:00pm with a service beginning at 12:00pm.
