Sheila Ann (Welden) Kelly was born November 3rd, 1946 in Kansas. She passed peacefully to eternal life on July 25th, 2021. The weeks leading to her death she spent surrounded by friends and family. She is survived by her husband, Frank Kelly of 52 years; daughters, Robin Bolton (spouse, Patrick Bolton) and Erin Voight (spouse, Bryan Voight). Along with their grandchildren, Colette, Noelle, Renae, Drew, Will and Elena. Her brothers, Bill and Stuart; her sister, Ellen Crisci Welden (Peter Crisci), and Christie and Craig Wagner who completes her family. Some of her favorite memories were times where she was also a host parent to Carmen Ortega Guzman, Federico Cerruti, and Darrel Morris. She was also blessed with wonderful sisters-in-law; Myrene Conner, Gayla Kelly, Joanne Kelly; and brothers-in-law, Bert Kelly, Mark Kelly, and Robbin Conner. She was fortunate to have many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, who all made life worthwhile. She believed in people that didn't have as much as she did, as did her mother. Which is why she liked teaching special education. She loved art, self-expression, color, texture which is why she spent her time designing quilts. She loved numbers which is why she excelled at business. She oddly enough loved paperwork so she loved taxes. She was saddled with many disabilities that at times were overwhelming. There were many times of waiting and wondering what was wrong. Now, we can see that she is again helping people. It was her family’s decision to make the most out of her misfortunes with disabilities and let her give what we all need most, cures. We are grateful to UCLA for giving us the ability to donate the gift of hope. A Celebration of Sheila’s Life will be held on Saturday, August 28th at Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 1165 E. Summit Avenue in Oconomowoc from 9:30 am to 11:00 am. Her funeral will be held later that day at Willerup Methodist Church, 414 W. Water Street in Cambridge, Wisconsin at 1 pm with a reception to follow. The Family wishes to acknowledge the kind and gentle care of the Towner Crest Memory Care staff, along with the additional support of St. Croix Hospice. In her final journey, she will be united with her mother, Olyve; father, Paul; brother, Hugh; and her Aunts and Uncles. The Rishel family always liked to get togethers, I can assure you they are having a big one party with Beef Stroganoff.
