Shirley Franzen

Shirley J. Franzen, (nee St. Aubin) age 84, formerly of Detroit and Roscommon, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 31, 2017. Shirley is survived by her loving children J. Scott (Betty Lou) Franzen, Kathi (George) Daubner; and Cheryl (Thomas) Maginley; grandchildren Laura (David) Laudenslager, and Ryan and Brett Maginley; great-grandchildren Benjen and Kara Laudenslager; and her sister Jane Moore, and many more family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband James, parents Lyle and Laura (Radtke) St. Aubin and her sister Glenna Ernest. Shirley worked for many years as a tax accountant in the Metro Detroit, Michigan area. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt and she will be deeply missed by all that knew her. Private services and interment are tentatively planned for spring 2018 at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan. The family would like to thank the staff of Heritage Lake Country and AngelsGrace Hospice for their loving care shown to Shirley. Donations in Shirley's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
