Stephen N. Bodovinac, Jr.
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our father, Steve N. Bodovinac, Jr. He was reunited with his wife, Maggie on Valentines Day February 14, 2025. They were married on August 13, 1960. Steve was 86 years old, born on April 6, 1938 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to his parents, Helen and Steve Bodovinac, Sr.
Steve was the oldest of 4, preceded in death by his brother Mark, and sister Felicia. Survived by brother John (Meg) and other nieces and nephews. He was a loving father to their children, Christine (John) Hutson, Paul Bodovinac, Tom (Shelley) Bodovinac and Peter Bodovinac and (Milly).
Proud grandpa to Tyler (Nicole) Bodovinac, Madison Bodovinac, Elijah, Zhoey and Khloey Bodovinac, Adrian and CJ. Great grandpa to Amelia Bodovinac and Rosie Bodovinac.
Steve retired from the US Postal Service after 30 years and moved to Las Vegas with Maggie. He was also a proud blood donor with donated 33 gallons of blood over his lifetime. Steve was also a Navy Reserve Veteran who served for 6 years. He also had a love for his state sport teams.
His family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses at Aurora Hospital in Oconomowoc, the North Shore hospice team and Lake Country Health Services for their final care in Steve’s last 4 months.
He also left an impact on everyone he met especially where he lived at Towner Crest in Oconomowoc for the last 2 ½ years.
There will be a celebration of life service at a date yet to be determined at Towner Crest.
