Sue Ann Davies

Sue Ann Davies of Oconomowoc passed away peacefully December 1, 2024 after a long courageous battle with the complications of breast cancer.

Sue is survived by her husband Jim Davies, Children Lindsey Evraets, Duluth MN, Robert Davies, St, Petersburg FL., grandchildren Dean and Mikaela Evraets and her sister Mary Schimmel of Waukesha as well as her special friends dating back to college, Kathy, Candi, Diana and Ann. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Warren and Joyce Schimmel.

Sue graduated from Waukesha South HS in 1966 and UW Lacrosse in 1971 with a BA in Education. She taught 5th and 6th grade in Oak Creek for 13 years before retiring to be a full time, Mom.

Sue was a water bug, starting with being a competitive free style swimmer with the Waukesha Swimming Club and then being a lifeguard and swimming instructor in High school and college. She also loved being on a beach and collecting seashells.

She also loved gardening and bird feeding and all forms of animals and pets, especially her Fox Terriers.

There will be no formal services but there will be family gatherings around the holidays.
