Summer Ciara Mckellar

A beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend, Summer Ciara McKellar left this world unexpectedly, at 22, on July 17, 2021. She was born in Oconomowoc, WI on October 30, 1998, to Wendy and Dave McKellar. Summer currently lived in Wales, WI with her mother Wendy, stepdad Andy, and sister Lexi. Summer loved dogs, especially her own, Dixie. She also loved lizards, was extremely artistic, and loved video games and music. She had a quiet nature about her, but with an uplifting sense of humor, and always a big, beautiful smile that stole your heart every time. She was a symbol of uniqueness with many deep facets... Army military police where she had the courage to follow her dreams and the stamina to survive harrowing expeditions with bravery. Currently, she was studying to become an EMT in an accelerated course... to help others in need. When you think of Summer, celebrate the good, heartfelt memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile so live your life to the fullest. Summer was preceded in death by her grandfather, Kenneth McKellar. She leaves behind her mother, Wendy Mills; father, Dave McKellar; stepdad, Andy Mills; sister, Lexi; grandparents, Mike and Jo Mills; grandmother, Joan McKellar; aunt, Kristen and uncle, Mike O'Connell, uncle, Dan and aunt, Melissa McKellar; and many more extended family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at Jerusalem Presbyterian Church, 207 West Main St, Wales, WI 53183 on Saturday, July 31, 2021. A visitation will be held from 10:30am-12:00pm, with a service beginning at noon.
