Sylvia J. Kush

Sylvia J. Kush, age 20, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2019 at her home. She was born on June 5, 1999 to Michael and Kristen (Cooper) Kush in Waukesha. Sylvia is survived by her parents; her sisters, Taylor (Chris) Drzewiecki, nephew-to-be in March, and Abigail (Hunter) Kush; grandparents, Dennis and Pat Cooper, and Judith (Gerald) Kush, her great-grandma, Jane; and many aunts, uncles and cousins, who loved her dearly. Sylvia enjoyed being on the lake with her family and friends. She loved music, and going to Summerfest and concerts. She loved doing make-up and taking photos. Sylvia was always the entertainer, making everyone laugh and smile. She had a heart for kids with special needs and took great joy in working with and building relationships with them. Sylvia’s smile and laugh were infectious, she brought joy to all those around her. You brought all of us a lifetime of laughter in such a short period of time. She cared for everyone and saw the best in literally every person she met. Sylvia befriended those who didn’t have friends and stood up for people who didn’t have a voice to do it themselves. She helped others without looking for recognition. Although her life here on Earth was short, she made a lasting impact on all those who knew her. Sylvia touched more lives than she ever realized. “You were the brightest light, and you will be so missed.” A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19th from 2:30 PM until the time of 5:00 PM at THIRST (formerly Meadowview School), W360N7077 Brown St., Oconomowoc, WI, with a funeral service to follow at 5:00 PM.
