Sylvia Loncar

Sylvia Loncar, age 94 of Oconomowoc, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Thursday, September 22, 2011. Sylvia is survived by her son Richard (Linda) Loncar and daughter Kathy (Douglas) Lunde, grandchildren; Karen (Peter) Hertzberg, Richard Loncar II, Scott (Serena) Lunde, Joe Loncar, Dustin (Maria) Lunde and eight great-grandchildren. Also survived by many other relatives, friends and her beloved pets. Preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years Joseph and her parents Arthur and Frieda Wodke. Sylvia was a longtime member of St. Jerome Catholic Church. She was proud to have retired from her job as a baker at Hardees Restaurant at age 90. She was an avid bowler for most of her life and was inducted into the Bowling Hall of Fame. Her loving and generous spirit will be greatly missed. A memorial mass will be held at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Oconomowoc on Tuesday, September 27 at 5:00 PM. Visitation for family and friends will take place from 4:00 PM until the time of service.
