Sylvia M. Alexander

Sylvia Mae Alexander (nee Ogurek), age 73 of Wales, WI, was given to God at AngelsGrace Hospice surrounded by her loving family on Monday, March 23, 2015. Sylvia is survived by Larry Alexander, her beloved husband of over 51 years. Devoted mother to Jeffrey (Jennifer) Alexander and Jodi (Michael) Steinke. Cherished grandmother to Ariel Steinke, Mayli Grace Steinke, Carter Steinke, Manning Steinke, Courtney Alexander and Paige Alexander. Sylvia is also survived by her siblings Shirley (Jim) Evrard, Sharon (Kalvin) Stuner, Barbara Ogurek of Eagan, MN, Debbie (Jim) Kinas of Giddings, TX, Robert (Cindy) Ogurek, Donna (Don) Rosiejka along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents Mayland and Clara Ogurek. Sylvia worked for American Family Insurance Legal Department in Pewaukee, WI for 31 and a half years and the State of Wisconsin for 10 years. She enjoyed flowers, watching and feeding birds, attending church and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. A celebration of Sylvia’s life will be held at Westbrook Church, 1100 State Hwy 83 in Hartland on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 4:00 PM. Visitation for family and friends will be from 2:00 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sylvia's name can be made to Westbrook Church in Hartland, WI.
