Sylvia M. Lyon passed away peacefully at her home in Cleveland, TN on November 15, 2018. She is survived by her children Sonja (Ron) Uglum; Sandra (Jim) Lyon-Munkwitz; Glenn Lyon; Rodney (Lynn) Lyon; Joan (Mark) Kuchta; John Lyon; Clayton (Jill) Lyon; and Patty (Mike) Celender; 23 grandchilren; 42 great grandchildren; and 9 great great grandchildren; and many more family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 36 years Melvin, grandsons Allan and John; and her sister LaVon. Sylvia loved cooking, baking, and sewing, and most of all, she loved her family and the Lord. A visitation for family and friends will be held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (1165 E Summit Ave, Oconomowoc) on Friday, November 23rd, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. The funeral service will take place the next day; Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Crosspoint Community Church (W380 N6931 N Lake Rd, Oconomowoc) at 9:00am. Burial will follow at Greenwood City Cemetery in Greenwood, WI. The family requests no flowers, please. Instead, kindly consider a donation to either Candies Creek Baptist Church (294 Old Eureka Rd NW, Charleston, TN 37310) or Crosspoint Community Church for their missionary work or Christmas shoebox program; or to the family (Please make checks out to Patty Celender.)
