Theresa "Terri" Gard

Theresa “Terri” Gard (Nee Dickow), 62, of Sullivan, WI was born to Richard “Dick” Dickow Sr and Sue Dickow on May 25, 1961 in Waukesha, WI.

Terri passed away peacefully at Angels Grace Hospice surrounded by her family as she gained her well-deserved wings on January 2, 2024.

Terri is survived by her husband Robert “Bob” Gard, Mother Sue Dickow, Daughter April (Tim) Gallenberg, Sister Lisa (Patrick Schuettler) Wellnitz, Brother Richard Dickow Jr, Grandsons “Her Boy’s” Jaden Gallenberg-Staffeil and Dylan Gallenberg, Former husband Jeff Staffeil , former brother-in-law John Wellnitz, as well as her nieces and nephews Nicole, Ashley, Tyler, Jamie, Kyle and Courtney and great nieces and nephews. She was endeared by many friends, near and far.

Terri was raised in the Oconomowoc, WI area and went to Oconomowoc High School. She was a social butterfly with a giving spirit and enjoyed greatly volunteering her heart and time to helping others while leaving an imprint to all she has touched. She was full of life and enjoyed bartending/cooking, hosting gatherings for her family and friends and would often reach out to strangers with open arms and an open heart. Terri was very artistic and enjoyed flowers, crafting and putting things together with love, cooking, going for rides on the Harley and homing many animals she could never say no to but loved dearly throughout the years.

Terri is preceded in death by her father Richard “Dick” Dickow Sr. And grandparents.

A special Thank You to Angels Grace Hospice of Oconomowoc, WI for their outstanding care and compassion for Terri and her family and for Sue “Lil Sue” Busalacchi for her unconditional love, spiritual guidance and support for Terri and all her family.

A visitation to celebrate Terri’s life will take place on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (NEW LOCATION: 2228 N. Silver Maple Lane, Oconomowoc, WI 53066) from 12:00pm-2:00pm with a service to follow. Following the service, the family invites you to join them for a meal in the banquet hall. Terri will be laid to rest on Monday, January 22, 2024 at Hoffman Cemetery at 12:00pm, all are welcome.
