Thomas E. Leemon

Thomas E. Leemon (“Tom”), 77, of Oconomowoc, died peacefully and went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, July 9, 2020. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie Leemon and Matilda Rogers; and his brother Leslie J. Leemon. Tom is survived by his loving wife and best friend Kathleen (Kathie) F. Leemon (Burkard); children Lisa Bergersen (Jon), Daniel Leemon (Wendy Hagedorn), Michael Leemon (Panan); grandchildren Thomas Leemon, David Leemon, Joshua Leemon, John Leemon, Ian Bergersen and Connor Bergersen. Tom will be very missed by his family and many friends; he was close to many of his friends for more than 50+ years. He was an incredibly warm, loving, hospitable, and fun person, who made anyone he met feel loved and special. He cherished his family, friends, sports teams, Lake Nagawicka for 20+ years, and the past year, Lac LaBelle. He loved being on the water, and created many special memories boating with family and friends. Tom was incredibly devoted to all of his family, but his greatest legacy will be his 57-year marriage to Kathie. Tom modeled what it means to be a devoted and loving husband. We thank everyone for their prayers and outpouring of support over these last few days. And we take great comfort knowing that Tom was welcomed home to the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. A private service will be held for immediate family and Tom’s closest friends, as he requested.
