Thomas P. Stegerwald

Thomas P. Stegerwald, age 69, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 5th, 2024 surrounded by his family and his closest friends. Born on December 15th, 1954, in Sun Prairie, Tom was the cherished son of Paul and Alice (Hebl) Stegerwald.

Tom spent more than 30 years as a Sales Representative for Kraft/Nestle Foods delivering product throughout Waukesha County. Tom was viewed by many of his peers as one of the hardest working and most dedicated employees they’ve worked alongside.

Tom found joy and happiness through the simple things in life; the thrill of fishing with his family and friends, the peace of living in the country with his partner, Donna, and the freedom of taking a weekend ride on his Harley-Davidson. In his final weeks, he spent his time doing each of these things that he cherished so much. He will always be remembered for his wild side growing up, sense of humor, big heart and countless lasting memories he shared with his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving mother, Alice; his sons, Brett Stegerwald; Dylan (Rachel) Stegerwald; his sister, Sandy Stegerwald; his devoted partner of 13 years, Donna Oldham; his granddaughter, Ava Stegerwald; nieces Jenna (Caleb) Baumgarn, Jessi (Chase) Tracy; and many cousins and great nieces/nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Stegerwald.

In accordance with Tom’s wishes, a Celebration of Life will occur on Sunday, June 23rd from 12pm-4pm at VFW Post #9362, 349 S Walker Way, Sun Prairie WI 53590.
