Thomas C. Pyzyk Born to eternal life on March 5, 2012, age 72. Son of the late Chester and Anastasia (Krezman) Pyzyk. Brother to Barbara Miller. Loving husband to Kathryn (Sherman) Pyzyk. Son-in-law to Julia (Lucchesi) Sherman and the late Willis Sherman. Proud father to Timothy (Marie 'Molly'). Grandfather 'Papa' to Marguerite 'Maisie' and Elise Pyzyk. Uncle to Deborah (Jeffrey) Schultz-Brinkso. Great uncle to Katherine (August) Pabst , John (Elizabeth) Schultz, and the late Patrick Schultz. Great-great uncle to Madeline & August Pabst and MacKenna & Samantha Schultz. Brother-in-law to Patricia Sherman and the late Kenneth Sherman. Uncle to Christopher (Tina) Sherman & Ryan (Andrea) Sherman, also survived by other family members and so many wonderful friends. Tom was a retired teacher from the Milwaukee Public Schools. A graduate from Michigan State University and a member of PHI Sigma Kappa and Alpha Phi Omega fraternities. Lifelong involvement with the Boy Scouts of America. Earned the Eagle Scout Award, Silver Award in exploring along with the Ad Altare Scouting Religious Award. As an adult, he earned the Silver Beaver Award. He was very proud of his 31 year association with the Wisconsin State Fair Camp Ammon where he served 20 years as the director as well as the fun years working at the ticket office and AG building. He worked 31 fun years at Paganica Golf Course. Tom so enjoyed his many wonderful years of hunting and fishing with his son and friends. Also, the group vacations with so many friends and many years of being a reading lector at church. Tom was an avid reader, loved to cook, and enjoyed wood carving. He was also a gifted writer. Tom wanted everyone to know he will miss talking to and seeing all of his family and friends, who he loved so much. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family, St. Catherine of Alexandria, Lord of Life Lutheran Church, AngelsGrace Hospice or the Boy Scouts of America-Milwaukee can be made. Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church, W359N8512 Brown Street, Oconomowoc, WI, on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 11 AM. Visitation for family and friends will be held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 1165 E. Summit Avenue, Oconomowoc, WI on Thursday, March 8, 2012 from 4-8 PM.
