Thomas Strop

On January 10, 2012, Thomas Joseph Strop was summoned to heaven to tend to God's gardens, and to prune His rose bushes. Tom passed peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by his family, after a long battle with cancer. Tom was the owner of Strop Landscaping, Inc., and devoted his life to making the world a greener, and more beautiful place. Tom was preceded in death by his parents John Henry and Harriet Mary (Beller) Strop, and his nephew Robert Sides. Tom is survived by his loving wife Georgene Eleanor Strop (Francis), his daughters Holly Lynn Strop (Lawrence Judkins), Jennifer Ellen Laughlin (Steve Mueller), Heidi Ann Olsen (Leif Olsen), Jill Marie Hill (Grant Hill), Heather Marie Strop (Brian Cayne), and Amanda Beth Mowery (Justin Brown); his 10 grandchildren: Camellia Moen, Jesse Cayne, Jessica Laughlin, Jacob Moen, Austin Mowery ,Rose Moen, Lily Moen, Brady Mowery, Devin Brown, and Xander Hill; 10 siblings, and many friends. Tom was a devoted and loving husband and father, a kind and caring brother, uncle, and friend. He was deeply loved and will be forever missed. Tom's family would like to extend their gratitude to all of the wonderful and amazing doctors, nurses and care-givers who took such good care of him over the years and in his final weeks. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent in Tom's memory to either the Oconomowoc Regional Cancer Center, or Rainbow Hospice in Johnson Creek.
