Timothy Ivan Gukich, loving husband, devoted father and grandfather, peacefully passed away on July 19, 2024, at his home in Oconomowoc, WI. He was born on September 7, 1945, in Milwaukee, WI, to Ivan and Lorraine Gukich.
After forty years of holding various management positions, most recently as Chief of Appeals for the Internal Revenue Service, Tim retired November 30, 2007. His wisdom and fairness was respected by colleagues and taxpayers alike. He graduated from Northland College in Ashland, WI with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration where he was a member of the track team and president of Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity. He served in the US Army including a year in Vietnam. Timothy dedicated his life to his work and family, embodying integrity and diligence in all he pursued. In retirement, Tim enjoyed traveling with the love of his life Andrea and achieved a lifelong dream of authoring a book.
He is survived by his beloved wife Andrea Gukich, children: Holly (Aaron) Kania, Nicolas (Maria) Gukich, grandchildren: Dominic and Colin Kania, Paulo Hawthorne and Danielli Gukich. He is further survived by his sister Judy (Don) Felts along with nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Timothy's legacy of kindness and dedication will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Timothy was preceded in death by his father Ivan Gukich, and mother Lorraine Gukich and brother Thomas Gukich.
In accordance with his wishes, a private service was held for Tim.
Timothy Ivan Gukich will be remembered as a man of unwavering principles, a loving family man, and a respected professional. May his soul rest in peace.
In Tim's honor, memorials are suggested to the Church of the Resurrection in Hartland, WI.
