Timothy Sachtschale

If you asked a hundred people who Tim Sachtschale was, they’d all give you a different answer. A family man. A grandpa. A chef. A facilitator. A traveler. A fisherman. A golfer. A music lover. A problem solver. He was all these things and so much more. With a heart and soul for God, he led his life with Christ as his true-north. After a 15-month battle with cancer, Tim passed away peacefully at the age of 61. He was surrounded by love and support from his family. Tim was born on September 5, 1960, in Chicago, Illinois to Richard and Kathleen Sachtschale. The 2nd oldest of 5 kids, Tim grew up in Mt. Prospect, IL. He attended Southern Illinois University where he launched his future as a Manufacturing Engineer. In 1988, Tim’s love of the outdoors and traveling brought him to Park City, Utah where he met his wife Johnna. A storybook romance led to their marriage that same year. Their family grew to include John (Lisa), Savannah (John), and Miranda (Aaron). He was an engaged, present, and enthusiastic father who was extremely close and devoted to his family, and he never stopped planning the adventures they all had together. Tim is survived by his father and mother, Richard and Kathleen, as well as his sisters Madonna (Paul) Houser and Julie (Dave) Esau. His grandchildren, Audrey (4), Emma (4) Logan (4) and Brooke (1) will dearly miss their sweet and silly grandpa. He was predeceased by his brothers, Rick and John. The memorial service will be at Elmbrook Lake Country, 1100 WI-83, Hartland, WI 53029 at 3:00pm on Tuesday, June 28, 2022. A visitation before the service will begin at 2:00pm. The family will be there to welcome friends and relatives. The service will be followed by light refreshments and hors d’oeuvres.
