Vernell Fishleigh

Vernell C. Fishleigh (nee Everhard), 88, of Oconomowoc, entered into heaven on Thursday, March 15, 2012. Vernell is survived by her loving husband of 42 years John, sons Bob (Lyn), Don (Lin) and Jerry (Kris) Engelhardt, Michelle (Tom) Barsamian, brother Reverend Robert (Lori) Everhard. Cherished grandmother to 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Also survived by many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Louis and Cora Everhard. Vernell attended Layton School of Art. At age 16 she won the national championship of soap carving which was later bronzed and displayed in the New York Museum of Art. Vernell was a freelance commercial artist which included murals throughout Wisconsin. Vernell also enjoyed spending time entertaining her friends and family. Funeral services for Vernell will be held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home on Monday, March 19, 2012 at 12:00 PM. Visitation for family and friends will take place from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Burial will follow at LaBelle Cemetery.
