Vesta Gerhard) Bivens

Vesta Bivens, age 96, of Dousman, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2011. Vesta is survived by her children Rita Schultz of Watertown, WI, Sandra Reuter of Atwater, OH and Butch (Sherry) Bivens of St. Joseph, IL, sister Valda Bornemeier of Lincoln, NE, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, along with other relatives and friends. Vesta was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Bivens in July of 1999 and sisters Esther Lanning and Wilma Braatz. A funeral service for Vesta will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 209 W. Wisconsin Ave, Oconomowoc, WI 53066. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at the church. Burial will be on Monday, January 31, 2011 at Glenview Memorials Gardens, Ixonia, WI at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel. Memorials are suggested to Good Shepherd United Methodist Church elevator fund or Three Pillars Masonic Home park fund. Vesta married Arthur Bivens on December 21, 1933 at Elm Park Parsonage in Lincoln, NE. She was born in Eagle, NE. Vesta was deeply loved and will be missed by all.
