Violet M. Schultz (nee Tinus), age 95 of Oconomowoc, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, October 5, 2015. Violet is survived by her daughters Diann (Gary) Skalitzky of Waterloo, WI, Connie (John) Tokarski of Oconomowoc, WI and Mary (Stanley) Stark of Watertown, WI. Cherished grandmother to Jodi (Kyle) Joas of Waterloo, Matt, Dan and Patrick (Jessica) Tokarski of Oconomowoc, Robert (Amy) Stark of Louisville, KY and Dr. Brian (Michael Bomberger) Stark of Lincoln, NE. Great-grandmother to Reid Joas, Joshua, Caleb and Noah Stark. Violet is also survived by her sister-in-law Arlene Tinus along with many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Ed Schultz, parents, grandson Scott Skalitzky and brother Harold Tinus. Violet was born in Oconomowoc Lake on November 19, 1919 to Earl and Louise Tinus. She graduated from Oconomowoc High School in 1937. She then married Edward Schultz on June 12, 1943. Ed and Violet lived on the family farm for 71 years. She was a longtime member of Dr. Martin Luther Church. Violet retired from the Oconomowoc School System. She enjoyed playing sheepshead, watching the Brewers and spending time with her family and friends. A memorial service for Violet will be held at Dr. Martin Luther Church, 325 South Main Street in Oconomowoc on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 9:30 AM. A private family burial was held for Violet at Summit Cemetery. Special thank you to Dr. Dan Cleary and her caregiver, for their years of care and support.
