Virginia Ann Pavesich (nee Klows), known to her family and friends as ‘Ginny, Ma, Grandma, and Aunt Gin’, passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours at the Three Pillars in Dousman on April 5th, 2019. She was 96 years old. Predeceased by her loving husband Charlie in 2003, her memory making son, Chuck in 2010 and her beautiful granddaughter, Rebekah Renae in 1978. Ginny’s life story begins on September 17th, 1922 in Cicero, IL. She was the middle daughter of Bernard and Mary Klows. She spent her childhood growing up with her beloved sisters Ruth and Helen. She met the love of her life, Charlie, and they married on December 17th, 1943. They raised their two sons, Chucky and Billy, and their dog Jody, in Darien, Ill as well as their cabin in the woods near Hayward, WI. In their later years, they traveled between The Cabin and another home in Waco, Tx and finally settling in Dousman, WI. Ginny shared many happy memories with her family. She loved having everyone together and they feel lucky and blessed to have spent many happy summer days with her at the cabin, fishing on the river, walking with her to the old bridge, picking wildflowers, and playing cards and Scrabble. And when they left, she always cried. Ginny also loved to crochet and made her family beautiful afghans, socks, and cat toys. Zach loved going to Hayward to visit Grandma and taking candy out of her car. Tara remembers that Grandma always let her stir the cookie dough when they baked. Vanessa remembers all the cross-word puzzles Grandma did and all the games she played with her. Randy remembers Grandma lying beside him to watch the exciting wrestling matches. Meghan loved hearing her tell stories of her youth and how she met Grandpa. Ben remembers how Grandma taught him how to play penny poker. She always made time to sit on the floor and play with her Grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. Ginny is survived by her son and daughter in law, Bill and Nancy of Dousman, WI. Daughter in law Eve Pavesich of Byron, MN. Grandchildren Ben (Becki), Randy (Kim), Zach (Devon), Tara George (Brock), Meghan Kammerer (Brian) and Vanessa Terrazas. Great-Grandchildren Brianna, Jude, Layla, Ronan, Corbin, Zoe, and Baby Kammerer. The Pavesich family would like to thank the staff at Three Pillars for their loving care to Ginny in her final years. Memorials are suggested to the Salvation Army in Virginia's name.
