William C. Anderson

William Clinton Anderson passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family to join his wife Beverly on October 16, 2014. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Beverly, parents Walter and Dorothy Anderson and daughter Lisa. Survived by his sister, Karen (Larry) Peyton, children Scott and Susan (Christian), grandchildren Sam (Jessica) and Cailin, and great grandchild Landon. As well as many other dear relatives, neighbors and friends. Bill worked for Newsweek magazine for 32 years before retiring as the Director of Distribution in 1999. In Bill’s retirement he enjoyed serving on the Auxiliary board and volunteering at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital. He was a very active member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church and enjoyed preaching as a lay minister at Shorehaven Lutheran Home, Good Shepherd, Concord and Sullivan United Methodist Churches. Bill will be remembered for his sense of humor, quick laugh and his love for friends and family. Funeral services for Bill will be held at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Oconomowoc on Tuesday, October 28th, 2014 at 11:30 AM. Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, October 27th, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Tuesday October 28th, 2014 from 10:30 AM until the time of the service, all to be held at the church. Bill will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in West MIlton, Ohio on Thursday, October 30th, 2014 following an 11:00 AM funeral home service at Kindred Funeral Home, 400 Union Blvd. in Englewood, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's name can be made to Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. The family would like to thank the staff at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital, Shorehaven and AngelsGrace for their devoted care of our father.
