William Eastman

William H. Eastman, 96, of Oconomowoc, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 27, 2012. Bill is survived by his daughter Linda (Michael) Morton, grandchildren Andrew and Katrina Morton, special friend to Dora Ziegler, Marga Doescher and Rica Piercy in California. Also survived by other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his loving wife Erika, daughter Joan, parents Harry M. and Louise Eastman and brother George Eastman. Bill was born on March 7, 1915 in San Francisco, Ca. He retired from the Muni Railway as a mechanic. Bill was a U.S. Army veteran and served during WWII in North Africa and France. While in San Francisco, he was a member of the Sea Scouts. Bill enjoyed trains, classic cars and spending time with his family and friends. A memorial service for Bill will take place in the 3rd floor chapel at Shorehaven Health and Rehab Center in Oconomowoc, on Friday, February 3, 2012 at 4:00 PM. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 3:00 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Shorehaven or the Wisconsin Parkinson's Association.
