William G. Platz

PLATZ, William G. (Bill), 83, of Okauchee Lake, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 with his family at his side. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Marilyn Platz. Loving father of Laurel (Gary) Kuehneman and Greg (Roxanne) Platz. Cherished grandfather to Jessica (Jamie) Ammann, Jennifer Kuehneman, Nicholas Kuehneman and great-grandfather to Amelia. Bill will be missed by his beloved cats Cleo, Allie and Lilah. Also survived by many other relatives and friends. Bill is preceded in death by his parents George and Julia Platz and sister Geraldine Drews. Bill proudly served in the U.S. Army Air Corps and retired as a Master Electrician and Electrical Supervisor for the Milwaukee County Parks System. Funeral services for Bill will take place on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 2 PM at the Wisconsin Memorial Park Family Center, NW Chapel followed by military honors. Visitation will be held from 12 PM until time of service. Entombment will take place on Monday, May 2, 2011, 10AM, at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
